NEW MARKET SEASON STARTS - SAT, JULY 11TH

The Freedom Farmers' Market serves as a gathering place that is creating harmony while offering a variety of produce, fruits, and healthy foods. People come to the Market not only to shop, but to socialize and to reconnect with a history that ties food to land, culture and community building.

Time: 9 am - 2 pm

When: 2nd Saturdays

By supporting farmers' markets, you support a local economy and, a healthier sustainable agroecosystem.  We believe that farmers' markets are strategies communities can use to empower themselves to eat healthier.

SEASON OPENING - In conjunction with the Temescal Street Fair

Watermelon Eating Contest "FREE"

Sign up at 11 am to become a watermelon eating competitor. 

Contest at 12 Noon (2 rounds)

AUGUST 15th

Chess Champ Competition

It's a Chess Game playoff, last person standing is the Freedom Farmers' Market Chess Champ.

Board opens at 10 am, winner announced at 1pm.

Kids Play at the Freedom Farmers' Market

CONNECT 4 Competition: 10 am - 12 pm

Shop, Engage and experience community in a safe space.

OCTOBER 10th

FFM - ECO Poet "Community Open Mic"

Suggested Topics: Food Systems, Climate Change, Environmental, Food, Natural Resources, Horticulture, Farming, and Social Justice.
